We found that the ANSIO 12L dehumidifier is an EXCELLENT budget option. It offers an amazing 12L water extraction rate at a really cheap price compared to other models. It is difficult to find a 12L extraction rate at this price point but the ANSIO 12L somehow manages to do it. This model also manages to hold a huge 2.3L water tank which is a great feature as well as multiple fan speeds or and a timer. These features make the ANSIO 12L one of the most powerful and efficient budget dehumidifiers we have found to date.

Well, to put it plainly, we like the price. If you are looking for the best budget dehumidifier then look no further.
You really will struggle to find a product with all these features for less. Is it the best dehumidifier ever? No, but for what you pay, you are getting some great specifications.
Performance
The ANSIO 12L offers a massive 12L extraction rate, perfect for most rooms or small homes. It is highly unusual to find this extraction rate in a dehumidifier at this price. Somehow Ansio has managed to do it and the result is one of the best budget dehumidifiers you can get hold of.
A 12L capacity dehumidifier is perfect for most small/medium rooms and many small properties such as flats or 2-bed houses. It will help you in the fight against damp and excess moisture that occurs especially during the winter time. You can expect this product to help you get rid of that annoying condensation you see on your windows every morning. If you have had issues with mould or are worried that you might, then this model is a good choice.
One of the ANSIO 12L dehumidifiers’ best features is the 2.3L water tank. This is larger than many other budget models and offers you a high level of convenience. The larger the water tank, the less you need to empty it. It will save you having to constantly worry about the water tank and having to empty it multiple times a day.
It is worth noting that the power consumption is 245W and the noise level of this model is high (45dB). Most compressor dehumidifiers are rarely above 40 dB, we cannot recommend this model for bedroom. As for power usage, dehumidifiers of this size are GENERALLY around 220 watts so it is slightly over. For this reason, we also won’t recommend this one as an energy-saving option.

This model has very practical features that you should always look for in a 12L dehumidifier. Dual fan speed lets you switch between 2 fan speeds. You might wonder why this is good, we are here to tell you that this feature is INCREDIBLY useful, here’s why. . . The higher fan speed can be used to dry laundry as a laundry mode! We took an in-depth look at whether a dehumidifier can be used to dry clothes and the results were amazing. It turns out that a dehumidifier is a great alternative to the conventional tumble dryer.
The ANSIO 12L comes with an automatic shut off timer, this lets you decide how long you want the dehumidifier to run before turning off. This is a very useful feature if you want to leave the product running while you are out of the house. It is not as useful as a full 24 hr programmable timer, but these are not common in budget dehumidifiers.
Like many other 12L dehumidifiers, the ANSIO 12L comes with the continuous drain hose. This lets you plumb the dehumidifier into a drain so you never have to empty it. This feature can save you a lot of time and we highly recommend you get a dehumidifier with one if you hate emptying water tanks constantly.
Unfortunately, this model doesn’t come with a humidistat. This is a piece of equipment that automatically detects the humidity level in the surrounding air. It can then tell the dehumidifier when a target humidity has been reached before switching itself off. You wouldn’t really expect this feature in a cheaper dehumidifier though so it’s not a big negative.

There is not much good comparing the ANSIO 12L to more expensive dehumidifiers. Naturally, the more expensive models have some additional features, brand reputation, and performance benefits. The ANSIO stands alone however in providing amazing performance for an outstanding price.
We would happily recommend the ANSIO 12L dehumidifier to anyone looking for a powerful, wallet-friendly dehumidifier. Trust us, the damp and condensation won’t care how much you paid! The 12L extraction rate is what you are paying for here. Remember, this dehumidifier is only 2-3x the cost of some mini dehumidifiers which can only remove 200-400ml of water a day. This will remove a minimum of a few liters!

We did some digging to see how everyone else likes this dehumidifier. We found that 9 in 10 people liked it and were very happy with their purchase! Many people have said that it helped them get rid of damp and condensation in their homes.
