Want to know if the Pro Breeze 1500ml dehumidifier lives up to the hype? You have seen positive reviews but aren’t quite sure if it’s worth it? We have reviewed the Pro Breeze 1500ml and found some interesting results, stick with us and read on!
Without a doubt, the Pro Breeze 1500ml dehumidifier is an extremely solid dehumidifier. It is incredibly unique in that it is bigger than most mini dehumidifiers but smaller than larger more expensive dehumidifiers. In this sense, it occupies a very unique position in the market. The truth is, most mini dehumidifiers won’t do much to help combat serious damp issues. As a result of this, most people would be better off with a larger dehumidifier. If you either do not want or cannot afford a traditional large dehumidifier then the Pro Breeze 1500ml might be the perfect option for you.
What we like
The Pro Breeze 1500ml is an incredibly popular dehumidifier. It is very interesting because it is one of the only 1500ml dehumidifiers on the market. This makes it perfect for people who require something with more power than a regular mini dehumidifier.
- Up to 500ml/day extraction rate
- 1.5L water tank
- Good for large room/small house
- 40 watts
The Pro Breeze 1500ml offers a very respectable 500ml/day extraction rate. This is more than most mini dehumidifiers on the market and makes it one of, if not THE most powerful dehumidifiers at this price point.
Most mini dehumidifiers are just about powerful enough to keep 1 small room dry. This one however, would do a good job of keeping most larger rooms dry and possible even smaller 1 bedroom flats. The large 1500ml water tank is 50-100% larger than most other mini dehumidifiers. Due to its large size, you would likely only need to empty the tank twice a week depending on how damp the room is.
The Pro Breeze 1500ml occupies a very special segment of the market being one of the most powerful mini dehumidifiers. It is the best option for those who need something larger than a traditional mini dehumidifier but do not want a larger model.
You do not need to worry about water spilling as this dehumidifier comes with auto shut-off. This means that once the dehumidifier is full it will automatically turn off until you empty the water tank! You should always look for this feature in a dehumidifier as it can save you a lot of mess and hassle.
Most mini dehumidifiers use either 23 watts or 40 watts. As the Pro Breeze 1500ml is quite powerful it uses 40w. We would still consider this quite efficient as it can extract almost double the water as some 23w dehumidifiers. This dehumidifier uses roughly 0.74p of energy per hour, if you left it on for 8 hours overnight it would cost you just under 6p! We would consider this good value for a dehumidifier of this size and damp removing capability.
You have heard enough from us about how this dehumidifier is superior to other mini dehumidifiers. There aren’t any other 1500ml dehumidifiers currently on the market so we have compared it to a best selling 1000ml dehumidifier for comparison purposes.
|Pro Breeze 1500ml||Comparison||Auzkin 600ml|
As you can see, the Pro Breeze 1500ml blows the competitor out of the water in every area except for portability and price. Despite the price difference, we believe that the Pro Breeze 1500ml is worth the slightly extra cost as it often performs almost twice as good as leading mini dehumidifiers.
Ratings and Value
In terms of value, this dehumidifier offers the best possible value out of mini dehumidifiers when it comes to water extraction rate. It costs slightly more but extracts almost twice as much water as leading models such as the Auzkin 600ml. Its larger than average extraction rate and price make it a big favourite of ours as it bridges the gap between the traditional mini dehumidifier and larger dehumidifier markets.
The ratings for this model are also excellent. Most of those who have reviewed the item are very happy with it, most of them report that this dehumidifier has solved their damp issues. If you have damp issues that extend beyond a single room, we would still recommend looking at our best dehumidifier guide and looking for a larger model. Despite this, we love this model for larger rooms and even small flats with damp issues.
